Professor Sato is famous throughout Japan for his study on simple disaster vocabulary for foreigners.

Hello everyone! My name is Sato and I am the café master of the Global x Local= Glocal Café events that SIRA organizes. Today, I would like to tell you about the Malaysia Café that took place at the Koryu Corner on February 10.

If you are a visual learner and would like to study a language, would like to learn about Japan or other countries with your own eyes, or learn about a number of topics regarding the international community in Japan, then come to the Koryu Corner to watch some of the many DVDs and videos that we have available. Booths can be used by two people at the same time, so you can also bring a family member or friend!

Sendai International Center News (Japanese)

This month's visitor to the Koryu Corner is Jangmin Kang from Korea who first came to the Koryu Corner after the Great East Japan Earthquake to volunteer as a Korean translator/interpreter and provide useful information for other Koreans living in Sendai and Miyagi prefecture. 

Sendai International Relations Association offers a subsidy to cover some of the expenses for projects involving internationalization that are planned and carried out independently by Sendai residents.

The Sendai Turkish Association organizes cooking classes etc. each month and is currently holding paper marbling and other art classes at the Koryu Corner.

Lecture Room A & B and the Workshop are free spaces for use by registered groups who run international exchange, international cooperation and multicultural activities.

2011年10月1日（日）に仙台国際センターで「日本語を母語としない子どもと親のための進路ガイダンス 2011 宮城」が同実行委員会によって開催されました。

すがすがしい天気に恵まれた１０月２９日（土）。

仙台国際センターでは、留学生のための就職情報交換会「就活（勝）のコツ」を開催しました。

３月１６日（水）からの長距離バス運行予定です。すべて高速道路通行止めのため、一般道で運行します。どの路線も燃料がないときはお休みするかもしれません。
